The recording has been completed, and the CD arrives June 21, 1999 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania- --then the world! Watch as Zak performs LIVE at Pittsburgh's 'Boardwalk Floating Entertainment Complex' on the Allegheny River! Opening for Zak will be the local band,"EXPENSE" who will perform cuts from their new CD starting at 7:30pm. This entire evening is dedicated to one of Zak's favorite charities, MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS,who will benefit exclusively from the night's festivities. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

The 10 song CD, "PRIVATE SEA" includes a variety of work by Zak Stevens including the adult contemporary easy listening songs, 'PRIVATE SEA', "FIRST DAY", "LOVERS AND FRIENDS" as well as the rocker-"RETRO". "EVOLUTION" and "MARCH OF CONQUEST" are two of Zak's sountrack pieces, while "LISTEN" (a bit new age) and "TOMORROW" are both moving and thought provoking songs. Zak's music was recorded entirely on Yamaha, Fatar, Korg, Roland keyboards along with Roland Sound Canvas, JV880 and Korg modules- and a lot of overdubbing. In order to perform the CD live without sequencing, Zak located one of the area's finest musicians-a seasoned pro with solid Jazz backgrounds-making him a perfect match for Zak and his music!
